| Melanie, like Tim has been involved with horses for most of her life. Growing up on a cattle property in rural New South Wales; Melanie could ride a horse before she started school. Her professional experience includes pony clubs, dressage, show jumping, horse breaking, trackwork riding and was for a short time an amateur jockey. On an international level Melanie has worked for the Fuji-Sawa Stable at Fantast Club in Japan and was also based in Kentucky USA; training 2 year olds for trainer Bill Harrigan of Miacomet Farms. Melanie currently rides trackwork and is Tim’s Assistant Trainer. Melanie has been a valuable part of the Tim Martin Stable since his move to Sydney. She is also the Stable Manager of the Sydney Stable and handles the day to day running of the Sydney Stable. |
