Not A Single Doubt x Star Plume
Bay - Colt (foaled - 2006)
By
Not A Single Doubt
From
Star Plume
Yearling
The pedigree of this colt would suggest that he would be a powerfully built sprinter. He has been bred for speed and this is apparent in his looks. He looks a real precocious early two-year-old type. He is a good size, correct, has good bone and is a lovely well balanced horse. With the mix of his pedigree and physical attributes I anticipate that he will be a racing in the Spring two-year-old races this year. His Dam is a producer of winners including the handy Maire Madeleine. His sire Not A Single Doubt, is a first season sire by Champion sire Redoute’s Choice and out of the same family of Snippets. His pedigree blends the blood of prolific speed and precocity including Danehill, Rory’s Jester and Star Kingdom. He was purchased for $160,000 from the Magic Millions Premier sale.

What Can I Say
Yearling
This colt was one of the best looking colts of the sale. He is very racey, athletic type of horse. He is neat and balance, with a good girth, plenty of scope and a great action. He is out of multiple stakeswinning mare What Can I Say, who tallied up 8 wins; 6 at stakes level, including the Group 2 AJC Warwick Stakes, beating Tie The Knot and Might and Power. What Can I Say has already produced two stakeswinners with Only Words (ex End Sweep) and Gibraltar Campion (ex Rock of Gibraltar). His sire, Pentire, has produced some exceptional horse, including twice NZ Horse of the Year winner Xcellent, multiple Group One winning mare Zarita and champion racehorse Pentastic. He was purchased for $600,000 from the Inglis Easter sales.

Tale of The Cat x River Express
Bay/Brown - Colt (foaled - 2006)

Tale of The Cat
From
River Express
Yearling
This colt is a big strong horse with good bone; balanced and correct with a great action. He is very much in the mould of his sire, Tale of The Cat. I expect him to be a late two-year-old, early three-year-old. He is a very impressive horse and I believe he was a very cheap considering the current market. He is out of winning mare River Express who has produced a multiple stakeswinner in Cross Current as well as two other city-class winners. His sire, Tale of the Cat has been a consistent producer of winners and stakes performers, including the crack filly Glamourpuss, who won multiple Group Ones and new sire Lion Heart, who was a multiple Group One winner in the United States. He was purchased for $240,000 from the Inglis Easter sales.
